Our Covenant

Putting Jamaica First to Make Jamaica Win.

We avow, severally and jointly, as follows:

We believe in the possibility of a new Jamaica that can fulfil the hopes and aspirations of our people and secure a hope and future for the next generation.
We believe in God's will for a new Jamaica, and that if we acknowledge His Authority in National Affairs, the Vision we have articulated is possible within our generation.
We have confidence in ourselves, as a people, to unite and accomplish the transformation of this nation, from one of depression and depreciation, to one of progress and prosperity — through unity, love, and productivity.
We believe doubt is our greatest foe; faith is our greatest weapon; unity is our greatest strength; and love is our greatest virtue.
We so pledge ourselves to the concept of the Movement, for we are convinced, beyond doubt, that by this means, we as a people, shall best preserve our lives, ensure our liberty, protect our property, and achieve the quality of life our hearts desire.

We believe that a united approach, in the concept of the Movement, is the most feasible way to create governance on the principle of national unity for only one parliamentary term of five years.
We believe representatives are servants of the people, and therefore, government must serve the best welfare of the people, creating an environment that allows each citizen to maximize his/her potential.
We pledge ourselves to the transforming task expressed in the JFM vision, unreservedly and fully.
We believe that although our national situation is difficult, it is not impossible for Jamaica to yet become the great nation she has the ability to be.
We covenant to serve the people with honesty, integrity, transparency, accountability, truth, and love, always seeking the best welfare of the people.
